How has it been over a year since I last updated this blog? That's pretty terrible

I realise I haven't been hugely active here, but that's mainly because finding the time to sit and do traditional artwork while I have young twins hasn't been the easiest thing in the world. Don't get me wrong though, it's not been impossible and I do have some things in the works. It just may take me another year to finish them

oh hai. Life got very busy all of a sudden, but I hope to have more drawings finished and up soon. How are you, watchers?

Would you like to do an art trade with me? I have a little spare time, so would like to do a couple of trades - and I literally mean a couple, as that's all I can fit in right now around my other drawings lol

You'd be drawing one of my characters, and I'd be drawing one of yours. I need people who are prepared to do backgrounds and put in the effort, as that is what I'll be doing.

You'll be getting something like this (but of your own character, obviously!):



I have 6 OCs, all of whom are based on my pets - Bluebelle, Amber, Smudge (based on cats), Cali, Kai (based on dogs) and Donnie (based on a horse I used to own, but the character is Felisapien, same as the cats). I don't have any drawings of Kai up yet, so just the five to choose from. Bluebelle, Amber, Smudge and Donnie have long pointy ears, Cali and Kai have normal ears.

Bluebelle: female, tanned skin, royal blue waist-length hair, golden yellow eyes, pointed ears
Amber: female, fair skin, red hair which she likes wearing in different styles, green eyes, big bushy orange cat tail, pointed ears
Smudge: female, fair skin, brown hair with pale creamy blonde tips on the bangs, light blue eyes, pointed ears, likes headbands
Cali: female, dark skin, pale lilac shoulder-length hair with spiky bits at the top, left eye brown, right eye pale blue
Donnie: male, fair skin, brown side-swept hair (swept to his right), blue eyes, pointed ears

I sometimes like to show publically what I'm currently working on, and I think since I only have 3 pictures in my gallery at the moment, it may be nice for people to know that I am actually working on a few more things lol

Please send a note with your request. I will accept requests such as "please draw this character of mine: [link to reference]" but I will not accept requests such as "please draw this character of mine in these clothes, holding this item, in this pose, with this background" etc as I do not find artwork enjoyable if I do not have the creative freedom, so please understand this with your request.
